Job Title: Sports Club Member Services Associate
Location: Padel Boston, Dedham MA
Job Type: Part-Time, In-Person
Reports To: Club Manager

Position Overview:

Padel Boston is a new sports club compromised of 3 padel courts and a lounge. We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Member Services Associate to join our dynamic team at Padel Boston. As the first point of contact for our members and guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering excellent customer service. You will handle day-to-day operations at the front desk, ensuring the smooth flow of activities and supporting the overall member experience at the club. 4 hour, 6 hour and 8 hour shifts available.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Member Relations:

  • Greet members and guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Assist with member inquiries, provide information about club facilities, schedules, and services.
  • Handle reservations for court bookings, group sessions, and events.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring member satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Facilitate the check-in/check-out process for members and guests

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain accurate member accounts, update personal information, and process payments for memberships, classes, and other services.
  • Assist with daily opening and closing procedures, including ensuring the front desk is stocked with necessary materials and that all areas are clean and organized.
  • Manage and update class schedules, event calendars, and court availability in the club’s system.

Club Operations:

  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails, providing information or directing inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
  • Handle credit card transactions, and process refunds or adjustments as needed.
  • Provide support to coaches, instructors, and other staff as necessary to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Facility Maintenance:

  • Ensure that the front desk area and common spaces are clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Operations Manager or Facility Manager.

Member Engagement:

  • Promote and upsell club programs, memberships, merchandise, and services.
  • Assist with onboarding new members, ensuring they are familiar with club amenities and policies.
  • Help create a friendly and inclusive environment for all members, fostering a sense of community.

· Social Media & Community Engagement:

  • Assist with managing the club’s social media profiles (e.g., Instagram, Facebook)
  • Capture and share photos and videos of events, classes, and daily activities to highlight the club’s vibrant community.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to help promote special offers, tournaments, and seasonal events through online channels.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or a similar front-facing role preferred.
  • Experience in the sports, fitness, or recreation industry a plus, especially in racquet sports or padel.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
  • Proficient in using computer systems, point-of-sale (POS) software, and basic office tools (Microsoft Office or similar).
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
  • Basic knowledge of padel or other racquet sports is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
