Sports Card & Memorabilia - Collectibles Company Manager

SMR Collectibles is now actively hiring a Collectibles Company Manager! Our ideal candidate should be knowledgeable and experienced with all marketing principles, and have great communication skills.

Ideal candidate will have:

• Leadership Skills
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Being able to think critically and solve operational issues effectively, including troubleshooting workflow problems, reducing inefficiencies, and managing crises.
• Strong Communication Skills
• Experience in Process Improvement
• Project Management Expertise: The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities, meeting deadlines, and staying within budget.
• Analytical Skills: Being data-driven and capable of interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Adaptability and Flexibility: Given the changing nature of the market and internal challenges, an ideal candidate must be adaptable, open to new ideas, and able to adjust strategies quickly.
• Collectibles Industry Knowledge is nice to have
• Time Management and Organizational Skills: The ability to manage both short-term and long-term priorities, ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly while also keeping an eye on strategic objectives.
• Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with software and tools that are relevant to operations management, inventory management software, and data analytics platforms.

Preferred:

• Must have two (2) years’ experience in an operations/project management role
• Must have five (5) years' experience in collecting sports memorabilia, and requisite product knowledge

Schedule:

• 8 Hour Shifts.
• Monday to Friday.
• Overtime.
• Occasional weekends.

Work Location:

• Amityville, NY (Off Route 109)
• Job is located in a climate-controlled warehouse/office-hybrid setting where you will have your own desk/office chair and computer, as well as supplies and other pertinent job-related supplies
• Workspace is very open, and all product is on mobile shelving units

Note: Only employees who are full time after 1 year will be eligible to receive aforementioned benefits. (excluding PTO which you will receive on your first day with SMR Collectibles)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
