About the Role:

Adlumin is seeking a Sr. Pre-Sales Engineer to play a critical role in bridging the gap between customer needs and our cutting-edge security solutions for our largest partner. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, customer service skills, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity landscapes. The Sr. Pre-Sales Engineer will work closely with sales, customer success and ensure our clients receive tailored, effective security solutions that meet their unique challenges.


  • Pre-Sales Support:

o Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and articulate Adlumin’s value proposition.

o Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential clients.

o Develop and present customized solution evaluations that address specific customer needs.

  • Technical Expertise:

o Maintain a deep understanding of Adlumin’s products and services, as well as the broader cybersecurity market.

o Provide technical guidance and answer detailed questions about Adlumin’s solutions during the sales process.

o Create and manage proof of concepts (POCs) and pilot projects to demonstrate the value of Adlumin’s solutions.

  • Customer Engagement:

o Work closely with customers to gather technical requirements and design tailored solutions.

o Ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of Adlumin’s solutions.

o Provide ongoing technical support and training to customers, ensuring they are maximizing the value of our products.

  • Collaboration and Feedback:

o Act as a liaison between customers and Adlumin’s product development team, conveying customer feedback and contributing to product enhancements.

o Collaborate with marketing to develop technical content, such as white papers, case studies, and webinars.

  • Problem-Solving and Innovation:

o Address and resolve technical issues that arise during the sales and implementation processes.

o Continuously seek out opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales or solutions engineering role, preferably in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in network security technologies, SIEM, endpoint protection, and cloud security solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%).

Preferred Skills:

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or similar.
  • Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Query String).
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
