Sr. Quality Analyst

Projé has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior Quality Analyst. The Senior Quality Analyst will be responsible for the Test planning, Execution and documentation for all testing cycles related to Health Plan projects. The ideal candidate will possess detailed knowledge of Health plan operations, Test planning, validation and quality assurance components across the different stages of the testing life cycle.

Skills

· Develops, designs and deploys test scripts and cases of complex modules, strong knowledge of automated testing tools.

· Helps set up the test environment and contribute to the requirements documentation and test design

· Assists in defining and documenting knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, processes and life cycle to develop the client’s testing strategy and approach for both packaged and custom development.

· Identifies software issues and enters data in the defect management system.

· Creates traceability matrices and test reports.

· Creates testing metrics and reports for project manager to assess stability and status of testing activities

· Leads activities to develop and execute QA policies, procedures, practices, and standards for improvement in client processes.

· Participates in cross-functional activities to integrate information and systems that may have a quality and/or regulatory impact.

· Assists in establishing the client’s QA Group as a Center of Excellence in the areas of system development, validation, data integrity, system reliability and overall quality.

Key Qualifications

· Healthcare payer experience, including testing purchased software and custom applications.

· Experienced in software testing methods, tools, and approaches.

· Understanding of leading test and defect management tools, including their reporting abilities for test execution and defect management.

· General understanding of the healthcare operations such as enrollment, billing, claims, and utilization/care management

· Strong customer service orientation, with a proactive approach and sensitivity to consistently improving service for the client.

· Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation and collaboration skills, based upon goal and results orientation.

· Expertise with MS Office applications (Visio, MS Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and SharePoint required. Ability to produce high-level visuals and diagrams, as needed.

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university. Applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

· Three or more years of experience in practical experience preparing, executing, and documenting test cases to validate software and managing defects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
