  • At least 1-3 years of general grant management or program administration.
  • At least 1 year of competitive state grant management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in grant writing and proposal development.

Reports To: Director of Grants

Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in education, business, or related fields; preference given to candidates with a CSBO endoresment.

Job Goal: Enhance the effectiveness and impact of state grant programs by optimizing grant funding processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

Performance Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine grant programs to align with the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Prepare program guidelines and criteria for grant allocation.
  • Identify potential areas for collaboration for the blending and braiding of grant funds
  • Ensure program activities are implemented according to the approved plans and budgets.
  • Monitor program progress against objectives and timelines.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of grant programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on programmatic and fiscal status for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to grant funding.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, community groups, and other relevant organizations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all program-related inquiries
  • Write and submit grant proposals, ensuring compliance with funder’s guidelines.

Terms of Employment: Twelve-Month Year

Evaluation: Performance of this Job will be evaluated by the Director of Grants in accordance with Board Policy
