Job Title: Strategic Account Manager – Data Centers (HVAC)
Job Description: We are seeking a results driven Strategic Account Manager to join the ESC/EBTRON sales team. With this position you will be responsible for developing and managing direct sales efforts with datacenter clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, strong relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of HVAC systems and solutions. This position will report directly to the VP of Sales.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement sales strategies to manage existing accounts and add key accounts
· Identify and target new business opportunities with Fortune 500 companies and specific vertical markets
· Analyze sales data and provide insights to senior management on key accounts, market trends and forecasting. Present findings to the VP of Sales
· Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and revenue targets
· Give presentations and Lunch and Learns (L&Ls) to key customer base of owner accounts
· Participate in trade show events, conferences, and industry events to network with potential clients and customers
· Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, project management and sales) to ensure successful delivery and implementation of HVAC solutions
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, business or similar field preferred but not required
· Datacenter design experience and understanding
· Proven experience as a Sales/Account Manager or in a similar sales management role, preferably in the HVAC industry. Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the HVAC industry or related technical sales field
· Strong knowledge of HVAC products, systems, and applications
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain and grow new relationships
· Results driven mindset with a track record of managing, adding, and growing key accounts
· Strong organization and management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and manage multiple simultaneous accounts
· Ability to travel throughout North America. Up to 50% Travel
· Work and communicate effectively internally with the inside sales team/marketing at ESC to develop sales support
