Full job description

The Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod is seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals to be our Summer Camp Counselors, who provide a fun and educational experience to all of our children. Applicants must enjoy working with children, have a fun and outgoing personality, and are comfortable leading activities and playing games with children.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: leading activities for children groups ranging between grades 1-8, attending trips for grade-specific groups all across the New England area, engaging in games and activities with children during open time, and other duties that are expected of a Summer Camp Counselor.

The Summer Camp Program work hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM for 9 weeks (June 24-August 21).

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (Preferred)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
