Summer Marketing & Events Intern - Part Time Position
Do you want to make a difference in the lives of students and families? The Papillion La Vista Community Schools Foundation seeks a Marking & Events intern to assist with social media, events, and other marketing projects for summer 2024. This is a paid position.
This important team member will develop engaging content for social platforms, monitor social platforms, assist with event management, and initiate market research for best practices related to donor communications.
KEY DUTIES:
- Assist the Marketing & Events Manager in executing the Foundation’s overall marketing strategy
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events including the Foundation’s annual Golf Tournament and annual Gala
- Help develop strategies to bring public awareness and engagement of programs supported by the Papillion La Vista Community Schools Foundation through online and offline marketing efforts
- Create and design content for quarterly newsletter, website, and social platforms to increase brand awareness
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or currently in a bachelor’s degree program in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
- Experience creating marketing content
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with Google programs, Canva, Adobe, social media, and website maintenance

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
