Job Title: Supply Chain and Production Manager

Marking a considerable milestone, our US headquarters is expanding its production capabilities. As such we are seeking a key individual to bring their expertise, knowledge, and personal touch to our team.

Job Summary: The Supply Chain and Production Manager at BERINGER spearheads the optimization of supply chain operations and material flow while ensuring production efficiency. This leader develops team capabilities and implements best practices to achieve operational excellence and meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Define supply chain and production planning forecasting structure – taking sales forecast and translating it into the purchasing and production forecasts.
Create and implement internal supply chain processes and procedures, assess for efficiency.
Create and implement internal material flow processes and procedures, asses for efficiency.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators and metrics for supply chain planning and forecasting, production scheduling and inventory control; enact changes based on findings
Develop a supplier relationship management system.
Regularly report on supply chain and material control performance to leadership team.
Lead the production team - coaching/development of team members, growing capacity and capability to align with company objectives and goals
Define and implement inventory structure to align with business goals and objectives

Qualifications and Experience:

Degree or diploma supply chain management, production control, manufacturing, or materials management
3-5 years of direct work experience in a supply chain management, forecasting or production control position
Direct working knowledge of production operations and warehouse management
Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain principles, and experience with implementation
Familiarity with supply chain management (SCM) software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and/or material requirements planning (MRP) software
