Full job description

The Sylvan Learning Center of Beavercreek is immediately hiring part time teachers for Reading, Writing, and Math. These positions are for after-school/evening tutoring programs from 3:30-7:30 PM and on Saturday mornings from 9:30-1:30. As a Sylvan Teacher, you will have the joy and satisfaction of working with students to help them build skills and confidence. At Sylvan you will be able to work with fellow tutors in a positive team environment. You will be trained in the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in a small group setting. No outside lesson planning or grading of papers is required.

Qualifications required for a Sylvan Teacher include:

- State teaching credentials (current or expired)

- Four year degree or equivalent in a math related degree (to teach math only at Sylvan)

- 2+ years of teaching experience is preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
