ERPM Talent Acquisition Specialist
The Employee Relations and Personnel Management (ERPM) Talent Acquisition Specialist will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. The ideal candidate is resourceful, a good problem solver, has an upbeat attitude, and has the ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. This position is funded through a federal grant.
Exempt/Non-Exempt and Salary Range:
The ERPM Talent Acquisition Specialist is an exempt position with a salary range starting at $57,000 per year.
Reporting Relationship:
The ERPM Talent Acquisition Specialist is supervised by the ERPM Director.
Location:
Nashville
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Facilitates and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
2. Collaborates with department directors to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
3. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
4. Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
5. Screens applicants and selects qualified candidates.
6. Schedules interviews and oversees preparation of interview questions.
7. Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
8. Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other Employee Relations and Personnel Management staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
9. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
10. Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting opportunities.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualification & Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required. Documented experience in a paid related position will be considered in lieu of a degree.
2. At least three years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred.
3. THRP and/or SHRM-CP preferred.
4. Must possess cultural sensitivity and ability to work within the customs and traditions of various Tribal groups.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
8. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
9. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
10. Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
11. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
12. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
13. Ability to travel and work irregular hours, on an as needed basis.
