Job Description: Technician Installer – Alert Medical Alarms

Location: 1099 - Between Wilkes-Barre, Pa and Scranton, Pa.

Workload: 5 to 10 jobs per week

Bonus: $250 bonus after the first 20 stops are completed.

Alert Medical Alarms is a family-owned and operated company with over 25 years of healthcare industry experience. We are seeking a full-time Technician Installer in the Norfolk, VA area for our Medical Alarm Monitoring operations.

Technician Installers are responsible for performing in-home/residential PERS (Personal Emergency Response System) installations, service delivery, and retrieval of Alert Medical alarm equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Delivery, initial setup, and testing of medical alarm units in clients’ homes.
• Educate and demonstrate PERS equipment and services to clients and caregivers, ensuring their comfort in its use and testing procedures.
• Communicate a general understanding of the PERS installation agreement to the client and have them sign the appropriate paperwork.
• Follow-up with various MCO and SCE agencies regarding installation.
• Maintain and manage an inventory of equipment distributed by the Operations Manager when delivered to the client’s home.
• Occasional evening and/or weekend appointments may be required for emergency service work orders.
• Attend staff and operation meetings.
• Represent the company at events and exhibitions in the area as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to be in a vehicle for most of the day.
• Patience and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
• Familiarity with PERS, dealer portals, and device portals.
• Tech background is preferred.

Compensation:

$40 per completed installation.

Mileage reimbursement on long stops. Which will be reviewed at the time of interview.

Bonus: $250 bonus after completing 20 stops.
