Company: Townhome Landscapes is Washington DC’s One-Stop Shop for Outdoor Design, Maintenance and Installation.
Job Title: Landscape Maintenance and Construction Technician - Full-Time
Type of Employment: At-Will Employment'
Job Description
As a Technician for Townhome Landscapes, you will work on-site, as a member of our crew, to complete landscaping projects. We complete a wide range of projects including mowing/ edging, weeding, trimming/pruning, hardscape installation, vegetation installation, turf care, retaining wall installation, and many other types of projects.

Our Three-Step Hiring Process:
1. Apply on Indeed -- Candidates that send sales@townhomelandscapes an email containing a portfolio (photos/video) of projects they have worked on and/or references will receive preferential consideration during the hiring process.
2. Schedule and Complete a Phone Interview (10-15 minutes) - We will contact qualified candidates, providing them with time(s)/date(s) to schedule a phone interview.
3. Complete a Trial Day of Work -- Work alongside the owner for a day, so that both yourself and Townhome Landscapes get an idea if we are a good fit for each other. Start as soon as this week

What You Will Do
Primarily
- Independently complete mowing/edging projects - with the ability to protect lawn health and deliver aesthetically pleasing results.
- Independently complete trimming/pruning projects - with the ability to protect plant health and deliver aesthetically pleasing results.
Additionally
- Assist supervisor to complete a wide range of low-risk outdoor installation projects, including mowing/edging, trimming/pruning, weeding, mulching, concrete installation, hardscape, carpentry, sod, irrigation, lighting and vegetation installation, snow/leaf removal, and more (visit www.townhomelandscapes.com for complete list of services)
- Operate manual tools and power tools
- Report concerns or unsafe conditions to the supervisor
- Complete work correctly, so as to avoid re-work
- Responsible for returning equipment in working condition
- Politely engage with community stakeholders
- Leave job site in clean condition
- Assist operations team as necessary

Job Qualifications
- Portfolio and/or references
- 1+ years of landscaping experience, preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated leadership of leading initiatives and projects at your organization.
- All-hands-on-deck approach.
- Professional communication
Compensation & Schedule
Hourly Rate: $21-27/hour
Weekly Hours: 8-36 hours a week
Schedule: Monday to Sunday (Flexible)
Work Location: Multiple locations (primarily DC). Primary meet up location is located 4 blocks from NoMA metro station
Payout Schedule: Weekly on Fridays
