Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) to support our growing telehealth program. This role is essential to ensuring efficient workflows, patient engagement, and continuity of care across telehealth programs, including primary care, school-based telehealth services.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for visits (when applicable) by collecting medical histories, medication lists, and visit documentation.
  • Support telehealth workflows, including scheduling, patient onboarding, and visit coordination.
  • Educate patients on telehealth platforms and remote patient monitoring devices.
  • Conduct patient follow-ups, relay provider instructions, and assist with care coordination.
  • Assist with quality reporting, data tracking, and performance metrics related to telehealth services.
  • Facilitate telehealth visit logistics, including scheduling, patient onboarding, and technical support.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments, external providers, schools, and community partners as applicable.
  • Assist with patient outreach initiatives, including preventive care gaps and population health efforts.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - Required
  • Minimum of two year of CCMA experience - Required
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) - Required
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Adaptability to evolving telehealth technologies and workflows
  • Excellent patient education and customer service skills

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
