Job Description

We are looking for a results-driven sales representative who actively seeks out and engages customer prospects involved in agricultural and construction industries. Sales representative will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost revenue growth, customer satisfaction, acquisition levels and profitability. Sales representative will also maintain existing dealer relationships in the territory and will be responsible for adding new dealers to the network. Territory covers areas in Illinois and Michigan.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Completion of necessary sales documentation including but not limited to expense reporting, sales call reporting, and inventory reporting
  • Organize and maintain sales materials such as literature and promotional items
  • Daily performance of sales calls, product demonstrations, warranty documentation and towing of product display trailer
  • Occasional duties to include trade shows, product training and sales meetings
  • Self-motivated to grow and support multiple product brands throughout the territory

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Proven work experience as a sales representative
  • Farm and/or construction industry experience preferred
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds
  • Driver’s license maintained in good-standing
  • Ability to commit 2-3 days per week to overnight travel
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to utilize and produce Microsoft Office files
  • Ability to use computers, smart-phones, shared drives, online web software and email
