Tile Installation Specialist

Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tile Setter with a proven track record in quality tile installation. The ideal candidate consistently delivers exceptional craftsmanship, upholds the highest standards of professionalism, and takes pride in producing top-tier results on every project.

As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for laying tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces, ensuring precise alignment and a high-quality finish. This role requires an eye for detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut tiles to fit specified areas using hand tools and power tools.
• Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesive.
• Lay tiles according to design specifications and patterns, ensuring proper alignment.
• Apply adhesives, grout, and sealants effectively.
• Grout tiles after installation and clean excess grout from surfaces.
• Repair or replace damaged tiles as needed.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and team to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Ensure final installations meet client expectations and design specs

Experience/ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Tile Setter or similar role. (min 3 years preferred)
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively.
• Familiarity with construction practices and estimating.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and teammates.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Must reside in or near Mound, MN.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License or Visa.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be physically able to lift heavy materials and stand for long durations.
• Additional skills in trim carpentry, drywall installation, concrete finishing, fixture and glass installation, etc. is a plus.
