Titomic is an advanced manufacturing company specializing in large-scale metal additive manufacturing, repairs, and coatings using its proprietary Titomic Kinetic FusionTM (TKFTM) technology. Titomic serves industries including aerospace, defense, energy, and industrial manufacturing, providing solutions for part production, repair, coating, and tooling.

Role Overview
Titomic seeks a Systems and Industrial Engineer that will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing manufacturing systems and processes to support the transition of advanced cold spray technologies into scalable U.S. based production. This role focuses on improving efficiency, ensuring compliance, and integrating systems engineering principles with industrial engineering practices to enable factory ramp-up and local sourcing.

Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system-level requirements and architecture for manufacturing processes.
- Ensure integration of mechanical, electrical, and software components into cohesive production systems.
- Support risk analysis, FMEA, and reliability assessments for manufacturing systems.
- Design and optimize production workflows, layouts, and material handling systems.
- Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and throughput optimization.

-Support implementation and integration into the ERP system.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability.
- Define and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes.
- Support qualification builds and process validation activities.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (ITAR, EAR, Buy American Act, DoD).
- Work with quality teams to maintain compliance with ISO, AS, and other standards.
- Partner with supply chain, operations, and product engineering teams to enable local sourcing and efficient factory ramp-up.
- Provide technical support for automation and digital manufacturing initiatives.

- Support management reviews across various locations.

- Plan and manage project task, schedules, resources, and budgets.

Digital Thread Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the digital thread across product lifecycle stages, ensuring seamless integration of design, manufacturing, and quality data.
- Implement and manage PLM/MES systems to enable traceability from concept through production and sustainment.
- Support data interoperability between CAD, PLM, ERP, and shop-floor systems.
- Drive initiatives for model-based engineering (MBE) and digital twin development.
- Ensure compliance and security of digital data in alignment with ITAR, EAR, and DoD requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to optimize data flow and connectivity for real-time decision-making.

Experience Requirement
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, industrial engineering, or manufacturing process optimization.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and industrial engineering methodologies.
- Proficiency in process optimization, lean manufacturing, ERP, and Six Sigma tools.
- Experience with manufacturing systems design, workflow analysis, and capacity planning.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (ITAR, EAR, Buy American, DoD).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Tools & Systems
- Modeling & Simulation: Arena, FlexSim, or equivalent.
- CAD Tools: SolidWorks, AutoCAD.

- ERP Tools: Epicor or similar.

- PLM Systems: Siemens Teamcenter, Windchill.
- Data Analysis: Excel, MATLAB, Python.
- Process Improvement: Minitab, Lean/Six Sigma toolkits.
- Documentation: MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Microsoft Project.

Success Metrics
- Reduction in cycle time and production bottlenecks.
- Increased throughput and factory efficiency.
- Compliance with ITAR, Buy American, and DoD requirements.
- On-time delivery of process documentation and system integration milestones.

Security Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship without dual citizenship is required. E-Verify is utilized to check I-9 and or other documentation.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance for DoD programs.
