NWCL Trademark Attorney

We’re looking to add a great trademark attorney to our team. We’re a highly experienced and growing team that specializes in corporate law. Our firm was built over the last 10 years on a shared ethos of being authentic, innovative, and local to the Pacific Northwest. We pride ourselves on building long-lasting client relationships by being great lawyers, and by being open and transparent.

We enjoy trademark work, and our clients need trademark help, but none of us are specialists. We’d love to have a new teammate who can be a leader in this area. So, bring your trademark expertise and your desire to grow and build your practice with us. We’ll provide all the infrastructure, administrative, and marketing support. Let’s grow together!

For a good idea of what it would be like working with us, check out our About Us(https://www.nwcorporatelaw.com/about-us/) and Team Pages(https://www.nwcorporatelaw.com/the-team/) on our website.

This job would be perfect for you if you:

  • Are open to working on projects other than trademark work, including other intellectual property matters, business formations, acquisitions and sales, securities offerings, and contract drafting and negotiations;
  • Align with our core values of being authentic, innovative, and local;
  • Are a people person who enjoys working directly with entrepreneurs and business owners;
  • Are tech-savvy and would like to be on the cutting edge of corporate law;
  • Have, or would like to develop, a working knowledge of the entrepreneurial / start-up community in the Pacific Northwest;
  • Are a strong communicator who enjoys working in a small team;
  • Are looking for a healthy work / life balance and enjoy making the most of both your professional and personal time; and
  • Enjoy working remotely and having a flexible work schedule. (We have physical office space, but the majority of our internal and client interactions are done over the phone or through video.)

Before you apply, you should:

  • Be admitted to the Washington or Oregon State Bars;
  • Preferably have at least 5 years of experience practicing as a trademark attorney;
  • Preferably have a transferable book of business;
  • Preferably have experience working in the Seattle market or with Seattle based businesses.
