Tree Crew Specialist / Climber

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tree care and maintenance, with the ability to safely and efficiently perform tree trimming and removal tasks. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety practices in all operations. The Tree Climber will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure the health and aesthetics of trees within various landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate techniques and equipment at considerable heights.
• Operate bucket trucks and other machinery safely for tree care tasks.
• Assess tree health and growth patterns to determine necessary care.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to execute landscape maintenance projects effectively.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries on-site.

Skills

• Proficient in tree care techniques, including trimming, pruning, and removal.
• Experience operating bucket trucks and rigging equipment safely.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices.
• Ability to assess plant health and growth conditions effectively.
• Strong physical fitness to handle the demands of climbing and working at heights.
• Excellent communication skills for teamwork and client interactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
