Tree Technician Groundman

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tree Groundman to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various tree care operations, ensuring safety and efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality. This role involves working closely with arborists and tree care professionals to support tree trimming and removal.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tree trimming and removal operations, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Assist with tree removals, pruning and debris disposal.
• Safely use tools and equipment such as chippers and chainsaws.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the day.

Experience

• Previous experience as a tree groundman or similar.
• Good physical strength, fitness, vision and hearing.
• Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated to complete assigned tasks independently.
• Willingness to work in unfavorable weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
