Primary Job Function
As a Foreman at AVM Group, you will oversee and coordinate the activities of workers on construction sites. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of field construction team.
- Ensure that projects are completed according to specifications, schedules, and budgets.
- Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction site to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to provide clear instructions to workers.
- Resolve problems that arise due to inclement weather, emergencies, or other issues that may cause delays.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, labor hours, and project progress.
- Collaborate with field superintendent and general contractor to ensure smooth project execution.
- Train and mentor new workers, ensuring they adhere to safety and quality standards.
Required Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience
This role requires the following skills experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or associate degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
