Job Summary

Full-time Unit Support Worker 2 – Prevention, Retention, Contingency (PRC)

Responsibilities and Duties

The PRC services include but are not limited to car repair, rent, and utilities.

Duties include but are not limited to: assists, interviews, and screens incoming clients; determines eligibility for PRC program including interviewing applicants, collecting verifications, documenting needs, discussing service alternatives; making contact with providers and initiating referrals as assigned; performs general clerical duties for unit; explains and assists clients in completing paperwork required for the application process.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or professional office certification or training preferred;
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in customer service capacity;
  • Demonstrated ability with computers, and ability and willingness to learn new computer programs is a must;
  • Experience with office equipment such as multi-line phones, headsets, copiers, scanners, and fax machines is a must.
  • Confident, outgoing, detail oriented, and personable professional who works well with others is a must.
