Pomona Park Animal Urgent Care is looking for a veterinarian to join our team.

We are a walk-in urgent care seeing anything from a torn toenail to seizures to various surgeries. We invite experienced veterinarians and new graduates to apply. We work closely with the local 24-hour emergency hospitals to transfer for overnight care or specialty care as necessary. We do not see wellness appointments, give vaccines, spay or neuter, although on occasion we may offer a community day.

We are a group of people interested in working in an encouraging and inspiring team environment. Respect for each other is extremely important. We enjoy our work in the veterinary field and want to be able to help animals without any undue stress. We like to laugh and in the process are able to do our jobs better. We currently employee 1 full time managing veterinarian, 4 licensed veterinary technicians, 2 client service representatives, and 2 veterinary assistants.

We have a relief veterinarian who comes in to help out on occasion.

We are looking for a veterinarian who would enjoy a 4 day/week schedule with alternating Saturdays, ideally starting in March 2023.

Current hours: T-F 2:00 PM-10:00 PM and Sat 11:00 PM-6:00 PM.

February hours: M-F 2:00 PM-10:00 PM and Sat 12:00 PM-7:00 PM.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
