About the Role: As an Ophthalmology Veterinary Technician Assistant at Elite Veterinary Specialists, you’ll be an integral part of our team, supporting the care of our patients and assisting in a variety of tasks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the care and handling of patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Supporting veterinary technicians with anesthesia, surgical preparation, and patient monitoring.
  • Performing routine tasks such as taking patient histories, preparing medications, and maintaining clean and organized work areas.
  • Assisting in basic laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.

About You:

  • You have a genuine interest in veterinary medicine and a desire to learn and grow within the field.
  • You communicate with empathy and work well with both clients and team members.
  • Previous experience with patient restraint in a veterinary setting is required.
  • You’re adaptable and open to taking on new tasks and responsibilities as needed.
  • You handle challenges with a positive attitude and a willingness to help.
