Full job description
Here we grow again! As we grow our practice and say good bye to interns moving forward in their college careers, additional qualified staff are needed. We will be hiring 2 Vet Techs to provide great medicine to the wonderful families in our practice.
We are a fast-paced clinic with a commitment to yearly pet care for the life of the pet. We operate in a fun & friendly work environment that is focused on teamwork since 1969. It is true, our building opened in the 60’s and many of our vintage touches are still able to be enjoyed in a few exam rooms. Our focus however is on good medicine and that led to an expansion in 2016. This allowed us to increase our ability to constantly bring our fur families quality cutting edge technology, the space needed to implement it, and more staff to meet the increasing needs of their pets
At this time, we are searching for an experienced, friendly, and fully committed Registered Veterinary Technician or experienced assistant who is motivated to care for our clients’ pets and their families. Our mission is to provide our clients’ family pets with quality medicine at reasonable prices. We are a friendly and teamwork focused vet family with generational doctors who grew up working in veterinary practices. We have clients that are 5th generation families.
Our ideal candidate will have an energetic approach to growing professionally, must enjoy patient education, and be focused on teamwork. While we are open six days a week, each staff member gets 1.5 days off per week and will be off every other Saturday. First merit-based raise is possible at the 90-day review. We have a fully equipped and integrated in-house Idexx lab which provides quality Idexx perks for our staff. Your personal fur family is provided with significant professional discounts. Our breakroom is a fully stocked snack room for quick pick me ups throughout the day along with an outdoor lunch space. We regularly enjoy staff outings to promote teambuilding and friendships, and monthly training. If you are a Veterinary Technician/ assistant with a strong interest in wellness, medicine, general surgery, and the desire to educate and build a strong relationship with our team and clients, please apply today!
