Well established, PRIVATELY OWNED, companion animal practice in South Anchorage is seeking a compassionate and organized individual to join our team as a veterinary technician, 20+ hours/week. Our general practice currently supports 1-2 veterinarians.

We strive daily to foster clinic culture by following our core values of practicing high quality medicine, creating a supportive work environment, and making a difference in our clients and patients lives with a heavily leveraged technical staff. We offer a diverse case load including medicine, dentistry, and surgery with digital radiography, and in-house blood chemistry and urine analyzers. NO night or weekend calls (emergencies and overnight critical care hospitalization referred to local emergency clinics), and management that understands the importance of work-life balance. You WILL be able to leave on time :)

  • Applicants must possess a broad knowledge of animal science, medicine, and husbandry, including a basic knowledge of pharmacology and sufficient mathematical skills to ensure the administration of accurate drug and fluid doses.
