About the Role:

As an Ophthalmology Veterinary Technician at Elite Veterinary Specialists, you’ll dive into challenging and rewarding cases, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their owners. Key skills and responsibilities include:

• Comfortably managing patients of various sizes under anesthesia, including those on a ventilator.
• Knowledge of surgical site preparation, surgical instrument care, and anesthesia machine maintenance.
• Performing venipuncture, laboratory specimen preparation, and learning to conduct ophthalmic diagnostic tests.

About You:

• You have a passion for veterinary ophthalmology and a strong desire to learn.
• You communicate with empathy, building strong relationships with both clients and team members.
• A state license (certified/licensed/registered veterinary technician) is preferred but not required.
• You’re adaptable, open to exploring new professional horizons, and can work independently while knowing when to seek assistance.
• You approach challenges with positivity and grace.
