Young's Environmental is seeking a wash bay attendant that is ABLE TO DRIVE MANUAL VEHICLES to join our team in Flint, Michigan with hours of 2pm to approximately 10pm M-F!

Here's an idea of what you can expect to do -

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, procedures, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Power washing and fueling heavy vehicles nightly
  • Fluid checks
  • Mileage and Hour reporting
  • Shoveling, power washing, cleaning, sweeping, etc.
  • Assist in maintenance and garage related duties
  • Be able to safely complete tasks associated with a labor-intensive position including working outside in all types of weather conditions
  • Lifting, carrying, and pulling of hoses of up to 100 pounds
  • Completing all required paperwork on a daily basis, including daily reports, timesheets, and other administrative forms

Here is what we need from you -

  • Negative drug and alcohol test INCLUDING marijuana (pre-employement, random, etc.) per federal regulations
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory results of a Motor Vehicle Report
  • Must understand how to shift HEAVY DUTY vehicles
  • Satisfactory results of a background check (and your authorization to conduct a routine background check) - offenses will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
  • Ability to handle a physical workload
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn!
