Bath Water District is seeking a Distribution Technician to maintain and operate our water distribution system. What You’ll Do:

Maintain, repair, and operate distribution system components
Conduct meter maintenance and assist customers with concerns
Keep accurate records of distribution activities and inventory
Provide facility location information to utilities and contractors
Respond to emergency calls and alarms promptly

What We’re Looking For:

High School diploma or equivalent
Valid State of Maine Class “C” Driver’s License
Ability to obtain a State of Maine Class II Distribution License
Knowledge of water distribution systems, meters, and maintenance
Strong ability to follow instructions, work independently, and lift up to 60 lbs
Availability for weekend work and emergency on-call duties (must respond within 20 minutes)

Bonus Skills: Prior experience with excavation, dump trucks, or loader backhoes
