Water Resources Engineer
Locations: Columbia, Maryland;
POSITION:
Ecosystem Planning and Restoration, LLC, (EPR) has open positions for a full-time in our Columbia, MD office. We are looking for dynamic individuals with strong logistical, problem-solving and engineering skills to work with our ecosystem restoration design program. Ideal candidates will hold an engineering degree and have a minimum of 3 years direct experience in ecosystem restoration and mitigation, stormwater management, watershed assessment, and business development. We are also looking for senior candidates with advanced experience and leadership skills. Preferred candidates will be self-motivated, have demonstrated experience leading ecosystem restoration tasks and/or projects, and collaborate effectively in a multi-discipline team setting.
EDUCATION:
- Four-year college degree from an accredited university in engineering
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
· At least 3 years direct experience
· Watershed assessments
· Fluvial geomorphic conditional assessments
· Ecosystem restoration design development
· Proficiency in Computer Aided Design (Bentley Products Preferred / AutoCAD Acceptable)
· Report writing
· Client interface (preferred)
· Hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
· Construction services
· Mitigation projects
· Permitting (preferred)
· Monitoring
· Project management (preferred)
· Business Development (preferred)
