Candidates should be interested in medieval and Renaissance time periods and also have knowledge of armour, weapons, clothing, and other period items. Candidates should also have an interest in and knowledge of current pop culture topics. Must be an excellent typist and familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel. Primary job duties will be writing sales copy for a variety of medieval, Renaissance, fantasy, and pop culture items. Product descriptions must be accurate, positive, and highlight the product’s best features.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

• 1-2 years experience writing sales copy for online retail
• An Associates degree or higher in English, writing, or marketing
• Experience writing for SEO
• Exceptional attention to detail
• A flexible voice that adapts easily to the product and project at hand
• A keen instinct for persuasive, engaging writing that inspires sales
• Flawless grammar and spelling
• An interest in medieval history, fantasy, and current pop culture topics
• Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel

Personal Qualities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Must be able to work under a creative director/manager.
• Should be willing to learn new things.
• Should be able to handle revisions to copy.

This is a full-time position with working hours of Monday – Friday 9:00-5:00 CST at our location in Princeton, Indiana. Please do not apply if you are not able to work these hours at our location. This is not a work from home position.

This position starts at $15.00 per hour. This may vary due to an individual's previous experience.
