Full job description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups in need of mental health support. This role requires a you to see clients on Fridays, with the options to see clients on Saturdays and Sundays as you prefer. Your role will involve client care, crisis intervention, and clinical counseling. The ideal candidate will have specific training in trauma work and experience in interdisciplinary collaboration.
Duties
- Conduct individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions
- Assess clients' mental health needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address clients' concerns
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Provide education and guidance to clients and their families on coping strategies and resources
Counselor Qualifications and Skills
- Knowledge in education and counseling services, including trauma, suicide, and self-harm
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in counseling, social work or a related field.
- Must posses a valid indepent or temporary license.
- Knowledge and experience of social service referral sources in the community.
- Good human relation skills, strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Well-developed problem solving skills and ability to develop conceptual alternatives.
- Must possess the ability to implement and incorporate existing protocol, practices and policies into the work environment.
- Must have the ability to organize, implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, etc., of the business.
- Must be able to work some non-traditional hours.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 15 per week
