Welder - 2nd Shift

Pay Rate -$21.50 /hr plus $1.00/hr shift differential

Responsibilities and Duties

• Set up welding machines based on the job at hand
• Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements
• MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminum and stainless-steel components as well as thin-wall tubing
• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards
• Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators
• Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities
• Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
• Follow all safety rules and quality standards

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of two (2) years related experience required
• Experience with steel, aluminum and/or stainless steel required
• Experience with both MIG and TIG welding.
• Ability to lift heavy items up to 40 pounds
• Ability to identify and measure material
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs and uses
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures and angle gauge
• Ability to work in a team environment

Hours of Work:

2nd shift hours: 3:00 pm-11:30 pm, Monday – Friday

(May be subject to overtime hours on weekdays and weekends)
