MIG Welder/Fabricator

Job Overview

TCH Omaha branch is looking for a full-time Welder/ Metal Fabricator to fabricate and weld steel door frames following company quality standards. Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 3:30 PM (during normal business hours).

Essential Job Functions

• Weld steel door frames
• Grind and finish steel doors and frames
• Cut/prep/deburr doors and frames to proper specifications
• Pull material for fabrication
• Use various shop tools and welders to complete job tasks
• Other duties as assigned

Skills Requirements

• Mig welding, 220V experience
• Experience using various shop tools like electric grinder, jigsaw, circular saw, radial arm saw, etc.
• Forklift certified, or willing to become certified
• Accurately read tape measure
• Basic understanding of TCH work orders, paperwork, etc.
• Ability to read and comprehend templates
• Basic understanding of industry nomenclature
• Favorable results from a pre-employment drug screen and physical

Working Conditions

Warehouse environment is subject to temperature changes, on your feet most of the day. Also involves: bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, push/ pull and constant use of hands with repetitive motions. Lift 10-50 lbs, regularly, 100 lbs +, occasionally.
