Artist Colette Studios is seeking an outgoing and organized Wholesale & Partnership Coordinator for our hair claw business who is passionate about our mission, enthusiastic about engaging and seeking new wholesale partners, and eager to expand the commercial success of Artist Colette Studios.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in reaching out to potential wholesale partners and retailers (also referred to as Stockists), have exceptional communication skills, have experience as a professional, and be exceptionally detail-oriented and motivated to thrive as a member of our team.

This position also offers a commission-based bonus of 3% on each sale totaling $999 and less; and 5% on each sale totaling $1,000 and more.

Wholesale & Partnership Coordinator - Position Summary

The Wholesale & Partnership Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote our products to wholesale clients and drive sales growth. Your role will involve building and maintaining relationships with retailers, executing marketing campaigns, and providing excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Key aspects of this vital role include:

  • Managing programs used to track sales like Shopify and Faire daily.
  • Identifying and targeting potential wholesale clients, including retailers, boutiques, and distributors, to expand our customer base and increase product distribution.
  • Driving sales through proactive outreach, negotiations, and follow-ups with potential clients, utilizing persuasive selling techniques and product knowledge to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Cultivating strong, long-term relationships with wholesale clients by providing personalized support, addressing inquiries or concerns, and offering product recommendations or solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Communicating effectively with the Warehouse & Shipping Coordinator and Operations Manager to ensure deliveries are on time and wholesale partners are satisfied with our service and product.
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and opportunities for product differentiation or expansion into new markets to inform decision-making and enhance competitive advantage.
  • Traveling as necessary to foster relationships with potential and existing wholesale partners.
  • Representing the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to showcase our hair claw products, generate leads, and foster relationships with potential wholesale clients.
  • Other duties as assigned by the CEO.

Wholesale & Partnership Coordinator - Requirements

The position requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. The candidate should be a good-natured self-starter and multitasker and have outstanding interpersonal, communication, organizational, and technology skills.

The position requires a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

The position requires other key skills such as:

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-making at various levels within client organizations.
  • A passion for the fashion industry and a keen eye for trends in accessories and hair care products.
  • A customer-centric approach and the ability to effectively convey product value propositions and brand messaging.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant sales and marketing tools.
  • Strategic thinking with a results-oriented mindset, and the capability of developing and executing plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • A proven track record of success in wholesale sales and marketing.
