Full job description

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join Bully Hill Vineyards for the 2025 season! If you enjoy wine and can work independently and with a team, we would like to meet you. To be a Winery Retail Sales Associate, you along with a retail team will greet guests, educate, pour, and sell wine. You should be outgoing, attentive, punctual, and able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers
Educate customers
Conduct Wine Tastings
Conduct Winery Tours
Stock shelves
Maintain a clean work environment
Additional responsibilities may be required

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years old
Experience working in wine industry
Experience working in retail
Must be available to work weekends and summer holidays
Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Passionate about working with people
Works well in high volume/fast paced environment
Works well independently as well as with a team

This is an entry level position and a great introduction to the Finger Lakes wine industry. Wine experience is not required, but by the end of the season you will have solid grasp both on New York State wine as well as how to sell it. This is a hands on working position, all applicants should appreciate high volume environments and have a sense of pride in their work. Shifts includes weekdays and weekends. Must be reliable, team oriented and be able to follow instructions. Please have the ability to communicate well with other tasting room staff.

Bully Hill Vineyards is a family owned winery nestled in the hills overlooking beautiful Keuka Lake. Located 3 miles north of the historic village of Hammondsport. Bully Hill is an eclectic winery sprawled out over several acres. The campus includes a Tasting Room & Wine Shop, Restaurant, Gift Shop, Art Gallery, and Replica Cooper Shop.
