$24/hr plus tips. Winter Seasonal starts November 11, 2024 to the end of April 2025.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conveys passengers to and from predetermined locations
  • Assists passengers in loading and unloading their luggage into the vehicle
  • Maintains decent conversation with customers and assist them with directions
  • Answers passengers’ questions in a polite and gentle manner
  • Carries out regular check on the shuttle vehicle before and after each day’s run
  • Carries out repair of minor faults and report major problems, accidents, or damage to the vehicle to the dispatcher or technician
  • Notifies management of any damage, maintenance and repair needs for company vehicles
  • Understand the daily procedures for shuttle drivers.
  • Clean & refuel vehicles at the end of each shift
  • Obeys all traffic rules and regulations guiding the operation of shuttle services in his/her assigned area. This may include plying the predetermined routes, not going beyond stipulated boundaries, and collecting the agreed fare
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management like snow shoveling.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be 25 or over and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and must maintain a clean driving record
  • Must be able to safely operate vehicles based on company standards
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Personable and able to deal with variety of personality types
  • Flexible working hours and ability to work on weekends
  • Able to work autonomously but also as a team player
  • Positive Attitude to solving problems
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and a dedication meet deadlines required.
  • Come to work in complete uniform compliance.
  • Ability to interact positively with supervisor, management, coworkers, members, and the public to promote a team effort and maintain a positive and professional approach.
  • Ability to come to work regularly and on time, to follow directions, to take criticism, to get along with co-workers and supervisors, to treat co-workers, supervisors and members/guests with respect and courtesy, and to refrain from abusive, insubordinate and/or violent behavior.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT:

  • Frequently required to stand
  • Frequently required to walk
  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
  • Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
  • Frequently required to talk or hear
  • Continually exposure to outside weather conditions
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision; Distance vision; Color vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Able to get in and out of a shuttle bus
  • Able to assist guests with loading and unloading the shuttle
  • Able to assist guests to load and unload equipment, luggage and other items
  • Must be able to walk on icy & slippery surfaces
  • Occasionally required to drive or may be expected to drive at some point
  • Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: Shuttles and Suburbans
