The Seton Shrine is seeking a Worship & Retreats Coordinator to lead programs that inspire visitors, bring visitors closer to God, and celebrate the legacy of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton.

About the Role:
The Worship & Retreats Coordinator oversees the Shrine’s liturgical and retreat programming, ensuring that all visitors experience prayerful and tranquil moments during their time with us. This role includes:
- Programming: Coordinating worship, retreats, and concerts to reflect the Shrine’s mission and role as a Basilica and Shrine.
- Leadership: Managing and scheduling volunteers, facilitating training, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Logistics: Planning liturgies, producing worship aids, maintaining records, and ensuring proper use of Basilica supplies and equipment.
- Visitor Experience: Ensuring a welcoming, peaceful environment in the Basilica and retreat spaces.
You’ll also play a vital role in safety practices and occasionally assist in liturgical or docent roles.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a warm and dynamic individual who can confidently lead programming while maintaining a welcoming and serene environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- A passion for faith-based service and inspiring visitor experiences.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with attention to detail.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with volunteers, staff, and stakeholders.
- A calm and professional demeanor, even in high-pressure situations.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Practicing Roman Catholic required.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite required.
- Familiarity with Roman Catholic liturgical practices and theology preferred.
- Experience as a musician preferred.
Hours of Work:
This full-time position requires flexibility to support liturgies, retreats, and concerts. Weekend and evening availability will be necessary, with advance notice provided whenever possible.

Pay: $41,600.00 - $45,760.00 per year
