Worship Leader

Job Overview:
We are seeking a gifted, experienced and passionate Worship Leader to join our team. We are looking for a Spirit-filled individual who has a strong relationship with Jesus. As a Worship Leader, you will play a vital role in leading our congregation in worship and creating a meaningful and engaging worship experience. This is a part-time, paid position.

Responsibilities:
- Lead worship services and engage the congregation in meaningful worship
- Select and prepare appropriate songs for each service, considering the theme and message
- Coordinate with musicians, vocalists, other worship team members and tech arts team members to ensure smooth execution of worship services
- Provide leadership and guidance to the worship team, including mentoring and developing team members
- Encourage the congregation about the purpose and significance of worship
- Communicate effectively with the pastor and tech arts director to ensure alignment of vision and goals
- Plan and organize special worship events or programs as needed

Qualifications:

- Proficiency with IEM's, as well as playing with a click track and guide cue
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Proficient in playing at least one musical instrument (e.g., guitar or piano)
- Excellent and proficient vocal skills with the ability to lead congregational singing
- Knowledge of various music styles and genres suitable for worship services
- Experience in planning and leading worship services in a church setting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey spiritual messages
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of musicians and volunteers

Our worship team uses the following products, MultiTracks and Subsplash. Familiarity with these products is a plus, but not a requirement for employment consideration.

This position is a church staff position and will require church membership after a probation period of 90 days.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $4,164.00 per year
