Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment
- Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain optimal images
- Follow safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Assist in the transportation and positioning of patients for imaging procedures
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of X-ray equipment
Experience:
- Previous SURGERY experience operating a C-ARM is preferred
- Knowledge of radiographic techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy
- Proficient in operating X-ray equipment/C-ARM and related software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
This position requires the ability to scan patients, particularly in a surgical setting. The X-ray Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment, positioning patients, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. Previous experience as an X-ray Technologist in surgery is preferred, along with knowledge of radiographic techniques and procedures. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
