Full job description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Youth Program Oversight (Afterschool and Summer)
o Direct all aspects of afterschool and summer programs for K–12 students.
o Maintain compliance with Indiana Registered Ministry and CCDF standards.
o Oversee youth transportation logistics, including operating a 14-passenger mini-bus.
o Develop and implement curriculum that supports academic success, SEL, and leadership.
o Coordinate enrichment activities and field trips in collaboration with external partners.
o Recruit and supervise youth program staff, facilitate training, and ensure staffing needs are met.
o Monitor attendance and progress using Apricot and ensure data is used for continuous improvement.
o Maintain a safe and inclusive environment that reflects trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices.
Family Services Coordination (2Gen Approach)
o Collaborate with Case Manager to deliver integrated family case management.
o Facilitate parent education programs, including HSE support, financial literacy, resume-building, and parenting workshops.
o Plan and implement annual Back to School Bash
o Host monthly Family Engagement events (Family Nights, Dinners, etc.).
o Provide support through food access initiatives including weekly food boxes and/or Parent Pantries.
o Connect families with resources for healthcare, housing, transportation, and employment.
Partnerships and Community Engagement
o Develop partnerships with schools, churches, and community agencies to enhance program offerings.
o Represent WNS at community meetings, neighborhood events, and local school functions.
o Manage MOU agreements with partners such as Listen To Our Future, ISLL, Second Helpings, and Gleaners.
o Coordinate on-site and off-site services with program partners.
Data and Reporting
o Ensure accurate data entry and usage in Apricot for both youth and family programs.
o Work with the Director of Neighborhood Services to meet grant requirements
o Monitor family progress through individualized case management plans.
o Use data for storytelling, impact measurement, and program refinement
o Conduct regular program evaluations to assess quality and outcomes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
