Full job description
Primary
1. Develop a dynamic environment where young people grow closer to Jesus Christ,
supported by a clearly defined vision and strategy for discipleship within the Youth Ministry
that coordinates with the overall vision of Bethany.
2. Recruit, build, develop, train, and lead a Youth Ministry Leadership team made up of key
committed and gifted volunteers.
3. Desire to grow the Youth Ministry both from within Bethany and through outreach to the
community, building relationships with children, parents and families.
4. Provide oversight and planning for all aspects of Youth Ministry programming.
5. Create a Youth Ministry culture of continual improvement through evaluation and
constructive critical decision making.
6. Analyze programs and trends to look for new opportunities or to improve current programs.
7. Develop and monitor a Youth Ministry annual budget.
8. Serve on the Youth Committee.
Secondary
1. Work as a team player with the rest of the ministerial and support staff, including but not limited to staff meetings, planning sessions, and training/development opportunities.
2. Participate and provide support in church-wide events, to foster unity in the church body.
3. Assist in areas of counseling, preaching, and mentoring as these skills are developed.

Other Expectations:
All Bethany staff are expected to be church members in good standing, having a personal, active and growing relationship with the Lord and fully engaging in building relationships within the church body. This requires regular church attendance and enthusiastic involvement in the building of true biblical community at Bethany. Experience:
Possesses a level of maturity which includes previous work experience with young people and a growing knowledge of the Word of God. Educational background should include the current pursuit or completion of an undergraduate degree and willingness to actively pursue additional training and education as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20,000.00 - $25,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 per week
