Job Title: WRAP Coordinator Responsible to: Director of Services

Pay Rate: $22 per hour plus benefits

Pay Classification: Hourly, non-exempt

Hours: 35.0 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9:00-5:00, occasional nights and weekends

General Description

WRAP Coordinator Position - September 2023

As CORD’s WRAP Coordinator, your primary focus will be on the Pre-employment Transition Services for Students (Pre-ETS), assisting students with disabilities (aged 14-21) in their transition to employment. These students, both those potentially eligible and those already eligible for vocational rehabilitation services, will benefit from the WRAP's offerings in soft skills training, workplace exposure, and the core Pre-ETS services: work-based learning experiences, job exploration counseling, workplace readiness training, self-advocacy/peer mentoring, and post-secondary education counseling. This role is integral in forging connections, maintaining relationships with MRC’s VR counselors, enrolling students in suitable programs, conducting extensive outreach to schools and the community, and securing internship opportunities. Essential responsibilities include classroom teachings, adapting curriculum, ensuring participant success, and regular communication with key stakeholders.

Candidates should possess a deep understanding of Microsoft365 and Microsoft Teams, demonstrating proficiency in utilizing these tools for effective communication, collaboration, and document management. Furthermore, strong social media skills are vital, with an emphasis on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Snap Chat to engage and connect with our target demographic. Other requirements include comprehensive knowledge of employment laws, both general and disability-related, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfort in teaching both in-person and online, performing public speaking, working with diverse groups, and traveling extensively across and off the Cape is essential. Confidentiality remains paramount, and flexibility in working hours, including occasional nights and weekends, is crucial to cater to student schedules.


· Must have or obtain a working knowledge of employment laws for teenagers and


· Must have or obtain a working knowledge of disability-related employment laws;

· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills;

· Must be able to teach lessons to individuals and groups both in person and online

through Zoom or other appropriate technology;

· Must be able to complete required reports and consumer documentation in a timely and

satisfactory manner;

· Must have the knowledge and ability to communicate through a variety of

technological, age-appropriate platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Snap Chat, as

well as working on iPhones, iPads, etc.;

· Must have a working knowledge of basic computer programs such as MS Word and

the ability to learn data entry on the organization’s database software;

· Must be able to speak in front of groups of people;

· Must be able to work with diverse populations with varied skill levels;

· Must be able to travel across the Cape and to the Islands;

· Must be able to travel occasionally off Cape;

· Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality; and

· Must work occasional nights and weekends to accommodate student schedule

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
