Finding an employer who is supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community is important if you identify as LGBTQIA+ or want to work for a company that prioritizes equality in their workplace culture.

Being your authentic self when applying to jobs is often hard, but it can be especially difficult for applicants who identify as LGBTQIA+ since one-fifth have experienced discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity when applying for jobs in the U.S.National Public Radio, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the Harvard T.H.
