Indeed has been named to the Fast Company 2022 list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies. The annual list showcases more than 500 organizations that are making “a meaningful impact — on their own organizations, their industries, and society at large.”

For this year’s Fast Company list, Indeed was recognized as one of ten companies in the workplace category that are “navigating (a year of great upheaval) with novel services.”

In this category, Fast Company editors and reporters “sought to identify the companies that were either providing the kind of tools that were designed to create a thriving, positive environment regardless of whether work was in person, hybrid, or fully remote, or that inherently understood the nature of this tumult and adapted its policies and approach to serve employees.”

Indeed earned recognition in the category by delivering “streamlined features to accelerate applying and interviewing for a job” in today’s challenging hiring environment.

Fast Company cited the launch of Indeed Hiring Platform in March 2021 as an example of how Indeed “responded to the Great Resignation with a range of offerings targeting workers looking for greener pastures.”

Indeed Hiring Platform is a comprehensive hiring solution that lets recruiters and hiring professionals manage the hiring process — from posting a job to interviewing candidates — directly on Indeed, with no additional software required. The platform helps employers get to the interview more quickly, making the process of hiring candidates simpler, faster — and more human.

Indeed’s mission is to help all people get jobs

“We are excited that Fast Company has recognized Indeed as one of the world’s most innovative companies and one of the ten most innovative companies in the workplace category,” says Jessica Jensen, Chief Marketing Officer at Indeed. “Our mission at Indeed is to help all people get jobs. It’s an honor to take on this mission every day and to innovate on behalf of job seekers and employers around the world.”

In addition to Indeed Hiring Platform, Indeed “caters to job searchers in more than 60 countries and also offers other services aimed at helping job seekers stand out, like a résumé assessment service, and a free salary transparency tool to help workers understand how their current pay stacks up,” Fast Company notes.

To date, more than 5.7 million job seekers have scheduled interviews on Indeed.* And more than 2.5 million job seekers have completed employer-screening questions and scheduled interviews on Indeed Hiring Platform.*

A brand that matters

Fast Company also named Indeed to its first annual Brands That Matter list in 2021.

The list comprises 95 brands that “give people compelling reasons to care about them — and offer inspiration for others to buy in.” As an example of why Indeed is among the brands that matter, Fast Company cited Indeed’s 2021 Super Bowl ad, which “purposely put the focus on the people who use the job site — and their lives outside of work — rather than the jobs and work itself.” The magazine noted that Indeed’s Work Happiness Score was a key part of the 2021 United Nations World Happiness Report and another reason why Indeed is a brand that matters.
