Compliance and Accreditation Specialist

About 1st Step Recovery:1st Step Recovery is a dedicated treatment center committed to providing top-quality care for individuals on their journey to recovery. We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team who can ensure compliance with licensing standards and regulations while spearheading our CARF accreditation process for our AODE and BHSO facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the CARF accreditation process for our AODE and BHSO facilities, ensuring all standards are met and maintained.
  • Stay informed about changes in state and federal regulations impacting AODE and BHSO licensing and compliance.
  • Oversee licensing renewals and ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Provide ongoing staff education and training regarding compliance and accreditation standards.
  • Develop and update policies and procedures to align with regulatory changes and CARF standards.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for regulatory agencies and accreditation bodies.
  • Identify and resolve potential compliance risks proactively.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with CARF accreditation processes, preferably within AODE and/or BHSO facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Kentucky licensing requirements and regulations for AODE and BHSO entities.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret regulatory guidelines and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
