New Tools to Manage and Measure Employer Branding and Attract Top Talent on Indeed
In today’s job market, candidates have already formed an opinion about a company before they ever hear from the recruiter. In fact, 89% of job seekers research company reviews before applying to a jobIndeed + Qualtrics International Job Seeker Survey 2023.
With hiring budgets under pressure and top talent more selective than ever, an employer’s brand can be the deciding factor for a job seeker.
That’s why we’ve launched a new brand experience: the Employer Branding Suite, which manages how an employer’s brand shows up across Indeed and Glassdoor, paired with a new Brand Score to measure its health.
One Home for Employer Brand
The Employer Branding Suite brings together the tools to manage employer brand: Employer Branding Hub, Employer Branding Ads, Spotlight Pages™, Review Intelligence™, and branded jobs. This improved experience helps employers show up consistently at every stage of the candidate journey, from first encounter to final application. It’s now available globally as an annual subscription.
Here’s what that looks like in practice: On the awareness side, display ads reach candidates across Indeed, Glassdoor and beyond to make sure employers are reaching the right potential candidates.
Then when job seekers land on a Company Page, branded content, featured employee reviews, and Spotlight Pages™ give job seekers an authentic window into what it’s like to work at a company.
That brand story remains consistent throughout job listings, the apply experience, and candidate emails from Indeed. So whether a candidate first finds an employer through a job ad or stumbles on a review, they’re getting the same picture.
That consistency builds trust, which helps turn a job seeker into an applicant who feels confident a job is right for them. Employers who invest in brand management on Indeed see it in the numbers:
- 35% increase in job clicksIndeed and Glassdoor Data (worldwide), April 2023 – March 2025. Results may vary.: Employers using the Employer Branding Hub saw this average lift across their Indeed and Glassdoor Company Pages.
- 28% average increase in started applicationsIndeed and Glassdoor monthly employer-level data (worldwide) January – June 2024. Results may vary.: For employers who paired Employer Branding Hub with targeted Employer Branding Ads.

Measure Brand Performance
Managing an employer brand is only part of it, however. We’re excited to introduce a way to measure how effectively a brand is showing up for candidates with Brand Score.
Brand Score is a free metric available globally in Indeed Analytics to help employers eliminate guessing how their brand is performing. Brand Score is scored on a 1-to-100 scale based on an employer’s brand visibility, engagement, and perception across Indeed and Glassdoor.
It also stays current: the score refreshes weekly based on job seeker and employee activity across Indeed and Glassdoor, taking into account signals like brand impressions, engagement with open roles, and review ratings. Quantifying brand health isn’t just a branding exercise, but can connect directly to hiring outcomes. We’ve seen that a 10-point increase in Brand Score is associated with moving roughly 14 percentile points ahead of other employers in apply startsIndeed and Glassdoor data (US). That’s because when candidates feel they know a company’s culture, they apply with more confidence.
Together, the Employer Branding Suite and Brand Score give employers a better way to manage their brand and a real-time measurement of its health. A strong brand can be the difference between whether the right candidate applies or goes somewhere else. That shouldn’t be left to chance.
Employers can explore the Employer Branding Suite today and find their Brand Score in Indeed Analytics soon.
