Indeed Expands AI Education Through White House Initiative and OpenAI Collaboration
At Indeed, we know AI is advancing faster than anyone imagined, reshaping industries and work at an unprecedented pace. While the opportunities are immense, we also know change can be disruptive—jobs will evolve, companies will adapt, and workers everywhere will need new ways to grow and succeed. Our responsibility is to ensure people are ready for what’s ahead and help them navigate the future of work with confidence.
Last month, we joined over 100 other organizations in signing the White House ‘Investing in AI Education for America’s Youth’ pledge. In support of the pledge, Indeed is partnering with educators and industry leaders to produce and expand access to new AI educational and career resources. This includes:
- Producing AI literacy, education and upskilling content to support professional development and the emerging workforce
- Hosting dedicated webinars focused on skill development for AI careers
- Publishing insights on AI workforce trends via Indeed’s Hiring Lab
Together, these efforts support educators, students, and job seekers in building the skills needed for an AI-enabled workplace.
Today, we built on that commitment by joining OpenAI as they announced the Jobs Platform and a new AI certification program during our visit to the White House. With our scale, insights, and decades of experience helping people get jobs, Indeed is uniquely positioned to help shape what comes next and ensure these efforts expand opportunity for all.
AI will change how we work, but it doesn’t change our mission. At Indeed, we remain committed to helping people get jobs. By embracing this new era with purpose, we’re transforming how people and companies connect while also educating the workers of tomorrow.
