HVAC Maintenance Technician

The HVAC Maintenance Technician is responsible for managing and completing all assigned work order maintenance tasks in the Reszi single family rental home market they are assigned to. These activities include HVAC, light maintenance and rehab/turn applications that don’t need to be vended out or permitted via a third party. This position requires a maintenance background with HVAC certification with preferred spanish bi-lingual ability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install Rently locks, smoke detectors and garage mate devices
  • Perform repairs or work orders that don’t need to be vended out or permitted including: Drywall, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, and Flooring
  • Perform plumbing, electrical and other mechanical inspections
  • Enforce Reszi quality standards
  • Perform preventive maintenance like HVAC inspections and air filter changes
  • Install and repair appliances
  • Track and record maintenance activities
  • Track inventory of appliances and other parts that are installed in every Reszi home
  • Monitor, review and inspect job completion and quality for general contractors who have major permitted work that we vend out
  • Assist Customer Service Manger with Move Ins, Move Outs and occasionally Evictions
  • Rehabilitate and make rent ready Reszi homes
  • Liaise with Maintenance and Customer Service teams to develop an effective, proactive workflow to achieve well maintained assets and a high asset utilization and keep homes out of the “Red Zone”, i.e. little to no down time or vacancy
  • Review and understand company maintenance reports, identify improvement opportunities and drive performance improvement
  • Report and monitor maintenance deficiencies and equipment failure trends
  • Complete Aptly and Timeero training and use to manage Reszident and internal communication and process

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years professional work experience with degree or 10+ years without
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, potentially PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Excellent organizational and time management ability

Skills

  • Some level of Spanish fluency or bilingual ability preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt and flex with the needs of the company
  • Ability to set, meet goals and consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task, make quick and effective decisions, analyze and resolve problems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
