Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Foreman / Irrigation Technician (Driver) to lead a crew while performing landscape maintenance and irrigation system installation, repair, and upkeep. This role combines leadership, hands-on fieldwork, and driving responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a crew of 2–3+ team members
• Perform general grounds maintenance to ensure property cleanliness and curb appeal
• Maintain lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas (mowing, trimming, blowing, etc.)
• Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems
• Troubleshoot irrigation issues, including leaks, broken lines, and faulty sprinkler heads
• Adjust irrigation schedules based on seasonal and weather conditions
• Perform planting, mulching, weeding, and other landscape tasks
• Operate hand tools and equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
• Conduct basic mechanical troubleshooting on equipment and irrigation systems
• Keep walkways, parking lots, and common areas free of debris
• Accurately track and submit crew hours using company app
• Drive company vehicles, including hauling trailers and equipment
• Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient job completion
• Provide recommendations for irrigation upgrades and landscape improvements

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in grounds maintenance, irrigation, or related field
• Proven experience leading or supervising a crew preferred
• Strong knowledge of landscaping and irrigation systems
• Ability to install, repair, and troubleshoot irrigation systems
• Proficiency with hand tools and landscape equipment
• Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment and system repairs
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Driver Requirements:

• Valid Nevada Driver’s License
• Must have held a U.S.-issued driver’s license for at least 3 consecutive years (required for insurance eligibility)

Work Environment:

This position involves working both indoors and outdoors around trees, landscaping, moving equipment, and vehicles. Employees may be exposed to heat, wind, humidity, and other environmental conditions. Must be able to perform physical labor and work flexible shifts as needed.
